Phase III – Implementation and Comprehensive Planning

During Phase III, the City begins the develop of a comprehensive plan. This plan is a long term plan used as a guide for future growth and development over a 10 to 20 year period. The comprehensive plan will address such issues as land use and design principals and infrastructure and facilities development.

 

As part of this phase the community should work on implementing the strategic plan that was developed during Phase II.

The strategic plan and comprehensive plan should complement each other and work together to help the community achieve its vision.

 

To complete Phase III of the ACE program, the community should have in place both a planning process and a targeted implementation plan.

Three community meetings,  one business leader meeting and a community survey have been conducted on developing the comprehensive plan.
